  1. Bryan Portman

Excellent course giving a firm foundation to acquire and develop cookery skills. The chef Jake took us through each recipe, demonstrating carefully the method required and what to look out for to avoid spoiling or overcooking the food. I learnt a lot and certainly all participants on my course completed each menu to a very good standard. Jake was excellent as was all the support staff. A very good and informative day.

  2. Stephen Marshall (verified owner)

I did this course immediately after the Basics Part 1 the previous day. This really built on the knowledge imparted by the Part 1 course, and I was able to approach the course with considerable confidence. Just learning how to pan-fry a trout fillet has opened up a whole range of cookery. Excellent stuff, and many thanks again to Jake.
